HIs head gear and barnet look suspiciously like a Rasta version of the ginger scotch wigs and hats they so hilariously wear at football and rugby matches.
Oh and he must be in his 80s by now so he is allowed to be bald.
Personally I think his music is shite.

IMHO the guy's seriously talented.
Check out this Youtube link - almost 3 hours, but dip in and out as you feel inclined - I think it's worth it.
And yeah - he's seriously cool.
A black Neil Sedaka ? - comparing him to one of the greatest to come out of the Brill Building ? I'd take that.

Not sure of his hairline but without Nile Rodgers the 80's and pop music in general would be much poorer .He is not only a brilliant musician he is also a top producer too and influences so many of the big acts that have been around for over 30 years.
He is also one of the most sampled artists of his generation especially by rappers,

BTW, Rodgers may well wear a wig. He's been through two bouts of cancer (prostate and kidney) and I imagine chemotherapy / treatment takes its toll. I can forgive him for that at 66. He only recently stated, last month, that he was now "100% cancer free."

Yes he is all that. The sound he and Edwards conjured up is one of the most distinctive of the last 30 years and his contribution to music generally cant be overstated.
